Designing the Program

At Only About Kids we take a holistic approach to learning and involve children and their families to be a part of the programs that we run. We design our program by using a combination of the Emergent Curriculum and the Early Years Learning Framework. This Framework is utilised effectively to assist our Educators in providing children with the opportunities to maximise their potential and develop a love and passion for learning. We have a strong belief in creating lifelong learners. Within this Framework we recognise that children's lives are characterised by belonging, being and becoming. From before birth children are connected to family, community, culture and place. At OAK we support this Framework and it is through our programmes and philosophy of the centre that the children will excel as community members and successful individuals.

Only About Kids offers a Queensland Government approved Kindergarten program delivered by a Bachelor qualified Early Childhood Teacher, with the hours of a long day care setting, and smaller class sizes that ensures high quality outcomes for children.

Each child in our care has an individual portfolio that displays a variety of examples where they have displayed different aspects of learning.  These are labelled as such so that you can understand and see first-hand what learning is taking place and how your child is progressing.
